Hey y'all, I'm Alexandra
About
I'm not the photographer that was born with a camera in her hand, but I am the one that discovered the passion later in life. And I have to say, there is something beautiful about that. My husband gifted me my first DSLR camera in 2018 and he soon became my first model. What a trooper! I continued to invest in my education, where my passion and love for photography only grew.
I have a love for connection, story telling and serving. You can rest assured I won't show up on your big day as a complete stranger, but as a friend. We will grow to know one another and I will put in the work to learn more about you and your love story to best capture your day.
As your photographer you can find me smiling when you're walking down the aisle or possibly shedding a tear or two while I capture the first look. I'll bring a calming presence to your day while also being somewhat like your personal assistant. Checking in to see if you need anything or that your day is going perfectly. I'm here to be sure your day is everything you envisioned while I capture your memories to hold onto for lifetime.
I may be the only wedding photographer that didn't have a camera at a young age and didn't always know this is exactly what they wanted to do when they were younger. My story may be quite different, but I can say I was in journalism and on the yearbook staff all four years of high school. That has to count for something, right?
To be honest, I (and everybody else that knows me) always defined me as a studious, type a, Monica Geller inside and out. Hearing that my whole life and placing society's labels on myself, made me believe I didn't have a creative bone in my body.
I went on to college, became an accountant and at some point I just knew that was not the career for me.
I can't tell you the exact moment I realized that photography was the dream I wanted to pursue, but I know its always been there, waiting for me to simply chase after it. The love I have for this job is truly unexplainable. It's a love I am so blessed to have found and my dream is to now share this love by creating art with you and for you.

Yes, I absolutely could sit here all day and talk about my love for wedding photography, but lets be honest... It's not the only interesting thing about me. Or so I hope!
On the days I'm not sitting behind a computer or holding a camera in my hand, you can find me spending my time with my best friend and husband at our fave local brewery or traveling to new place on our bucket list. We absolutely love adventuring in new places and seeing the world together. Every trip, we're always planning our next.
A few other things I love is reading (any other TJR fans out there?), my Peloton bike and tread, spending time with my family and learning and growing in my faith. I wouldn't be who I am or where I am today without the love and grace of Jesus Christ. I give Him all the glory!
That's a glimpse into my life and who I am. My wish is to hear more about you, share and capture your story, and grow in our connection with one another. Every story is different and my one wish is that you feel loved and welcomed in this space.
