Take a peek into this fun session with Rachel and Cameron as I capture their engagement photos in downtown Fort Worth! When speaking with Rachel and Cameron, they knew they wanted their engagement photos to incorporate many elements of the city they would be getting married in – Fort Worth, Texas.
We started the session at the Sinclair Hotel. The location the couple would be getting ready at, as well as, celebrating cocktail hour and their reception on the big day. The hotel offers such unique architecture that you can see more of here, over on Rachel and Cameron’s wedding day blog.
After taking a few photos outside the hotel, we decided to roam around downtown together. Starting at Sundance Square. This area is always so much fun with different backdrops for your photos! From the water fountains, a stunning pavilion filled with an array of beautiful plants and so much more. After a few shots near the water fountains, we decided on walking around the streets of the city in hopes to get some wind in our hair. The Texas humidity and heat was on a high that summer day! But it didn’t stop us from creating memories of such a special time for the couple!
We ended our shoot in front of the Tarrant County Courthouse. The courthouse is only a short walk from Sundance Square, which is yet another reason to consider downtown Fort Worth as your engagement shoot location. There are simply endless possibilities for backdrops that are only a short, walking distance apart. Therefore, the area allows for such a great variety within your gallery. The Tarrant County Courthouse provides an elegant background of towering pillars and an endless staircase that allows for a fun variety of prompts and poses as well.

- Covered Plant Pavilion: Imagine this! It’s a rainy day in the city and you’re hanging out in this stunning pavilion. Surrounded by greenery and watching the rain trickle down the windows with your love. While I’ll be there to capture moments and memories you won’t want to forget.
